PASSION ROUTE IN RIMOV (2025)
Based on the script of the Římov parish priest, art historian and administrator of the Roman pilgrimage site, P. Jakub Václav Zentner, a documentary film about this South Bohemian phenomenon was created in 2025, where „heaven and earth meet in one place.“
Thanks to the initiative of the mayor of the municipality of Římov, Ing. Miroslav Slinták, who approached the small Český Krumlov production of Jan Bohdal, who has long-term cooperation with cities and institutions from the Český Krumlov and Kaplice regions, a project was created that maps the current state of the pilgrimage site, which has undergone major changes in the last few years. The pilgrimage site has been restored to such an extent that it can be said that it is probably in the same condition as people could see it at the time of its creation in the mid-17th century.
After publishing the Czech version of the film, the creators are also completing the German version and the audio version (a series podcast in Czech and German). The English version of the film is subtitled.
